World Cup 2007 Wrap-Up

PSP World Cup 2007 ended Sunday. It’s a great way to end the PSP season, and there is plenty to be said to wrap things up.

I’d like to draw special attention to JFK, who came in 4th in the D3 5Man event. They happen to be the local team, and will be reffing Evan’s and my charity event on December 9th. Mad props to them for finally getting to where they want to be, and hopefully can continue this rising trend next year. Word on the street is that they might even go to D3 Xball, which would be tight.

Common consensus this year was the same as any other sporting event for the most part. For the most part, everyone had a great time. The complains included high food prices and weather, both of which you probably won’t change in Disney.

However, the one thing that did kind of annoy me was the fact that so many people complained about the screaming parents / coaching. Coaching I disagree with for many reasons, and here’s just one more: if you’re coaching, you are definitely blocking someone else’s view, and that’s just rude. As for crazy parents, things are totally out of control from what I’m hearing. PSP should get a handle on some of this.
