Paintball on the Web - My Interests

by Dana

Everyone who paintballs knows that there is a ridiculous amount of information and stuff to do floating around the internet that is paintball related. I, as a blogger, have to be all over this stuff, so here’s what I’ve been up to recently.

Blogging

First and foremost, the thing that you may blame for all of my absences is this:

This is my other blog. Although it is hosted and sponsored by Xtreme, they give me completely free reign due to the disclaimer that reads:

“The opinions expressed herein are my own personal opinions and do not represent my employer’s view in any way.”

Bwahaha! Which means that I can comment about what I think rocks and what I think is trash. So don’t be afraid to visit. There are the occasional adds, but it’s really not excessive, and since I update that less frequently, I often go into more detail in my posts.

Oh, and it’s a good idea to check that blog out for current events that seem to have been passed over in this blog. I have to share ideas between the two blogs, and that doesn’t always work out with copyright clauses and such.

Xtreme said that they don’t want to have any copyright issues, so all content I post has to be my own. So I stay away from things that I’ve posted on here, unless it’s 30 days old, in which case the content that I write for 451 Press becomes mine to do whatever I want with.

As for the reverse of that, pretty much the same applies, except that Xtreme hasn’t given me any rules as to what I do with the content I write. Honestly, I’m not too worried about it, and if they told me one day that it was all theirs, I wouldn’t be too put out.

They’ve both been great to me, and that’s the reason I’m still blogging for both of them.

I’m thinking about adding a feature to this blog, where at the end of my post I put an “In My Other Blog” section, to talk about what’s happening at Xtreme. A lot of the recent big event happenings like Joy’s leave of NPPL and NPPL KC I’ve written extensively about there. Somehow it just occurred to me that perhaps you lot would like to see what’s happening there, thus providing the impetus for this potential section. If you’ve got an opinion on all this, let me know! It’s not that hard to comment on my blog, I assure you.

PBNation

Who among us doesn’t love some PBNation?

Or, if not love, at least check out your preferred OT thread?

My name on there is Sabre, and I am the proud member of uhm, Death Before Dishonor and some other random crap. PBNation really isn’t good for much besides being extraordinarily interesting on all accounts. Always a good time.
