Latest Paintball Briefs

Good evening, I’m Dana Granholm, reporting from PBJ Headquarters in Evansville, Indiana. Here are tonight’s top stories…
Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball Max’d - Finally Backward Compatible
GHTP Max’d was made backwards compatible with the November 2007 -360 Dashboard update. Unfortunately for the first gen Xbox 360s, there have been reports of some pretty insane glitchery. As long as you’re updated on your updates, it will work. Just… sort of.
For the latest updates on the up-and-coming GHTP game, check out GHTP.net.
Etek 2

Like an Etek version of the SL74/Ego8. That’s really all you need to know. Oh, that and you can go to Planet Eclipse’s website to find out more about its specs and magicality.
Stryker 2008
Stryker is out with their 2008 line, trying to run with the big dogs, I guess. Honestly, I don’t know a whole lot about Stryker other than that they’re a JT offshoot, and therefore K2. Honestly, none of K2’s companies have done anything impressive save JT, and even they have been struggling to come out with something “cool” since the Flex8.
Stryker is probably their attempt to distance themselves from the Brass Eagle name, which has been synonymous with trash since K2’s takeover. Not a bad idea, honestly.
The most interesting thing that they have in the lineup is a Dynasty endorsed marker. I hope Dynasty got plenty of money for endorsing it.
Russian Legion Leaves Smart Parts Markers
In my opinion, this move is long overdue. Smart Parts as a company hasn’t released anything innovative since the SFT Shocker, and even that was a step below what many markers achieved only a year or two later. Possibilities for the future of Russian Legion include the Ego, DM, Marq, or maybe even an Empire gun.

[…] the RL Timmies back in the day, and it’d be insane to see them pick up another BL gun since they seem to be looking. Did You Enjoy this Post? Subscribe to Paintball Journal. It’s Free! « Back Home Posted […]
