Bob Long Vice - Picture and Specs

Specs? So far all we have is a rough outline, but here’s what I know.
First of all, the Vice is a 5th Generation Intimidator, one of two, with the Protege being the step below in the 5th gen chain. The price for the Vice is going to be about $200 more than the Protege at $750. Some of this can be attributed to the wicked 3D milling that Bob Long has incorporated on the Vice body.
This is the pinnacle of all Intimidators. Weighing in at a true 1.5 pounds, it’s easily one of, if not the lightest marker on the market. Period.
The marker comes standard with four eyes and can be expected to shoot 30 bps with eyes on. The Protege has been clocked running at 28 bps, and I have to assume the Vice will be at least as fast.
Expect efficiency at around a case per 68/4500. Assuming that it runs close to the pressure of a Protege, the Vice’s LPR should be set around 70 psi, and the HPR at 210 psi for a 300 fps velocity. Dwell will be somewhere around 5 milliseconds.
I’m very excited about the prospect of the next generation of Intimidators. I thought that the Timmy line was dead after the gen4s were outpaced by the Egos and DM/PM gang. I figured there was no way that Timmies would be able to pull of the weight required to compete with the big boys these days. Well, Mr. Bob Long proved me wrong, and I’m incredibly happy about that.
Now that this new line is up and running, I’ll be interested to see which teams pick up, for the first time or as old hands, the Intimidators as sponsored markers. Russian Legion most famously used the RL Timmies back in the day, and it’d be insane to see them pick up another BL gun since they seem to be looking.

The Vice does not come with four eyes. It comes with a standard two, but the board and body can accept four without any modifications.

The only information I can find is this quote from Terry59 on PBNation, the user who originally posted all the info on the Protege:
“Twelfth, the Protege and Vice will be 4 eye capable, the Protege will come with a single pair and Vice will be upgraded and come with 4.”
Otherwise I can’t confirm anything about the Vice right now…

So our team went down to huntington beach this year for the 08 NPPL event…. it was amazing by the way…
but Mr. Bob i must say did an amazing job with this marker, our team got sponsored by Bob long, so we all picked up the vice. and every single of us loves it!!!
originally it comes with 2 eys, 4 eye capable… its super lite, and insanely sexxy!
it shoots darts right out of the box, and with the cheap installation of the 4 eye system its never chopped once, and that was in the heat and humidity of the beach as well.
i recommend this gun 100%, its beautiful.
