Big Events

Even though I haven’t been too enthused about playing lately, I’ve had a real itching to get to a main event just to watch one. Our city seems to be perfectly in the middle of every big city in the Midwest, so naturally anything big at all happens at least three hours away. To the north we have Indianapolis, west is St. Louis, east is Cincinnati, and then to the south we have Nashville. Despite the fact that we live on the crossroads, we get nothing here!

Anyways, I’d like to get to one just for the experience of being there. Just to be able to watch it all day and browse the vending areas and see the pros in real life is just one of those things that I really want to do. There’s really no reason for it at all, but I want to feel the atmosphere. Maybe this summer…
