A Massive Game of Paintball - 1,000+ Players!
Here it is - one of the largest games in the history of paintball featuring over 1,000 participants playing simultaneously. This was one of the biannual scenario games held at Splatter Park in Columbus, Ohio, during the 2006 season.
Splatter Park is one of the largest in the Midwest. Right now it appears that it’s mostly based on woodsball fields, but they do offer a Sup’Air field and host several 3-Man tournaments throughout the year. It’s also been featured in Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball!
Unfortunately, they’ll be closing very soon for the winter, but you can expect them to open back up in March. If you are interested in a scenario game, they’re hosting two more “Big Games? in the spring and fall of 2007 (May 6th, and October 7th respectively). Here are two pictures of the last “Big Game”. Man I wish I could’ve been there; it would definitely be a site to see. I really want to hit one up sometime, just to say I’ve been there. I don’t care if you’re a tournament player or not, that’d still be awesome.
