08 Dangerous Power Fusion

In case you hadn’t noticed, I’m a bit of a Dangerous Power fan. That comes from personal experience using DP products and being very good friends with Ben, someone who has been in contact with the outstanding customer service and company that is Dangerous Power.
This latest incarnation of the Fusion is gonna be great.
* Weighs 1.89 lbs.
* Length-19 inches and only 7.4 inches tall
* 200 psi operating pressure
* Same great efficiency as the Gen2 Fusion
* No more LPR
* Comes with RAPS on/off ASA
* Lower profile, patented xtreme grip feedneck
* Redesigned bolt
* Redesigned HPR
* Redesigned solenoid for reliability and adjustability
It’s smaller than an Ego7, lighter (I think…) than an Ego7, much, much cheaper than the Ego7. Proof that you don’t have to spend over $1000 on a small, kick ass gun: priceless.
Though an official MSRP has not been released yet, I wouldn’t be surprised if they started somewhere in the $400 or lower range.
The only thing that I’m not absolutely in love with is the milling. Not my favorite, but it’ll do. I’d much rather see a more Threshold-esque look applied to the F8.

Nice, but I’m still completely in love with the Ego.

Oh, yeah. You’ll notice nowhere in my post above did I say the Ego was a bad gun. I still think the Ego7 is easily in the top 3 guns out right now.

so what do u think will be better the threshold or the 08 dp fusion? im leaning towards 08 fusion because it has no hoses to leak. which gun do u think will be better?

I really don’t know. I think they will perform very close to equally, which would make sense, as DP is releasing both for similar prices. The Threshold has my vote for now for being the better gun due to how much attention DP is paying it.

yes but isnt the threshold a spool vaulve which means it has hoses and banjos and stuff that can leak.

Noooo, the Threshold is a dump valve system, entirely different from a spool valve.

so if a spool vaulve is the one with hoses a dump vaulve has no hoses then

Shocker is spool, has no hoses. egos do, not spoolers
November 27th, 2007 at 2:21 pm
not all* spoolers, srry

What?
First off, spool valves do have internal hoses. Secondly, this isn’t about Egos. Thirdly, the dump valve system for the Threshold does have hoses.

“First off, spool valves do have internal hoses. Secondly, this isn’t about Egos. Thirdly, the dump valve system for the Threshold does have hoses.”
I know this is a somewhat old topic, but these statements are completely false. Not all spoolers have internal hoses. Shocker, DM, PM, Threshold, etc. do NOT have any hoses inside the gun.
Also, the Threshold IS a spool valve gun. A “dump valve” is just a term used to describe the same basic firing system. The Threshold is based on moving, axially sealing o-rings, and is thus a “spool” valve.
